Dance Scholarships are available to new students entering Years 7 to 11 who currently perform at a high level.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Grammar School has a small number of Dance Scholarships available for students who are wishing to excel in their performing arts training. These scholarships are designed to recognise and celebrate exceptional talent and a commendable work ethic. Students are invited to apply for a scholarship and may be offered an audition based on their achievements at local, state or national level in conjunction with their previous examination results. The scholarships are offered based on the applicant's audition performance and previous achievements, as well as evidence of their good record of academic performance, behaviour and effort.
To be eligible to apply for a Dance Scholarship at RGS, applicants must:
Applicants are required to complete an RGS Scholarship application form, including uploading supporting documentation (outlined below).
Selected candidates will receive an invitation to audition. The Head of DMTA will contact families to share additional information about the audition process and coordinate a convenient time.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview with the Headmaster. Unsuccessful applicants will be advised.
If a Scholarship offer is accepted, an RGS Application for Admission must be completed.
The following supporting documents are required when submitting an RGS Scholarship application form:
Successful students will be awarded a Scholarship ranging from 25% - 75%, applicable to tuition fees, and where applicable, boarding fees. The Scholarship does not apply to any other School fees, including levies, uniforms, textbooks and supplies, co-curricular costs, excursions, camps etc.
Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Headmaster.
